Hey, I thought I’d compile a list of gifs and videos showing why Harry and Louis are together and in love.
In my opinion, there have been too many times when people have pointed to flimsy evidence and declared “LARREYY SYLIINSIN IS REALLZ!!!11”
I think we need a list of actual, rational reasons. If you have any more good moments, shoot me a message and I’ll add it. :)
(note: I’ve excluded any moments that are too played up for the cameras/too exaggerated/too reliant on words and not body language/not solid enough evidence/could be considered platonic. This includes their fake make out sessions, the lovebite, most of the eyesex, ect., all of which I believe are valid Larry moments, but too flimsy to actually make an argument with)
NUMBER 1:
What went down:
- Louis looks at Harry, tilting his head and leaning in [classic preparation for a kiss]. Harry lightly pats Louis on the cheek. (6:57-7:00)
- NOTE: Afterwards Harry makes a comment about a “creep” (note: there’s debate of whether he says “creep” or “camera,” but I personally hear “creep”) and Louis makes an “OH SHIT” face. Here’s on anon’s interpretation of what he means
Not the anon who mentioned it before, but Harry does say “creep” in that radio interview. The way I see it he was calling the camera guy a creep, since dude was focusing on Harry and Louis being all affectionate instead of on Liam who was, you know, the one who was actually speaking. Harry notices it, subtly alerts Louis, calls the guy a creep and Louis makes an OOPS face.
- Louis wanted to kiss Harry
- I bet Harry wanted to kiss Louis too, but just couldn’t because they were in an interview. Caressing Louis’s cheek was the alternative.
- I think this exchange shows they’re in some sort of a relationship. It’s just not indicative of a platonic friendship.
- Finally, idk but it definitely didn’t seem like a show for the cameras. I think it was just them exchanging a genuinely sweet moment.
This is actually going to be awkward because it’s just gre i can’t even deal)
- Louis makes eye contact with Harry (like, he makes it very clear that he wants Harry to watch him)
- (I’m not even going to mention the face Harry makes in the first one)
- Louis, MAINTAINING EYE CONTACT WITH HARRY, gulps his water. Ok.
- Louis then, I KID YOU NOT, strokes his microphone, which is conveniently placed to look like a dick. Ok.
- Harry basically dies inside because he’s so turned on.
- Harry and Louis have sex with each other.
- This was not for the cameras nor did Louis intend for for anyone else to notice but Harry. (This was just too gay and also too discreet to be a played up Larry moment.)
- Harry and Louis have sex with each other.
(on a side note i just rolling around laughing because one of the reblogs is someone defending their heterosexuality ‘loUIS has A GF!!!! HARRY SAYZ HE LIKES GIRLS” Ok.)

NUMBER 3:
This one is really old, but still relevant. In my timeline of Larry, I think this is before they started dating or whatever.
- Interviewer asks “What do you like about being in a band”
- Harry replies “I like girlz!!!1111” Sure you do, Haz.
- Louis dies a little inside, but more so dies outwardly, because he has the most hilarious reaction I have even seen in my life. (it consists of initial mouth gaping open in pure shock, slight shake of his head in disbelief, his head turn while his mouth is still open, his scrunching his face and shaking his head “no”, him fixing his hair, his unhappy, annoyed smirk at the very end)
- At that point (like i said, I think this is before they had an official relationship) Louis and Harry had already fooled around with each other.
- I think them having been intimate is the only way to explain Louis’s bizarre reaction. It would first of all explain his disbelief at Harry liking girls, and it would also explain his annoyance at Harry’s declaration.
NUMBER 4:
- Louis goes and nuzzles his face against Harry’s back.
- Harry has this happy little smirk on his face the whole time.
- Louis kisses/bites Harry’s back. (if you look closely you can see the fabric crinkle because Louis bites it)
- Harry moves his arm as a response.
- Yeah, they’re dating.
- You don’t just nuzzle and bite your best friend’s back in the middle of an interview. You just don’t.
- Even though 1D is known to be supah gay with one another, their gay moments are usually really conspicuous on purpose (fake make out, kisses, love bites, ect.). BUT In this moment, Louis was not biting Harry’s back in a dramatic way to appeal to the cameras, he was just doing it because he could and just wanted to.
- Bro, they’re together.
Let’s cover this almost-kiss, but we’re going to mostly focus on Harry, because he’s the one who initiates it.
What went down:
- Harry. leans. in. to. kiss. Louis. They were already at a pretty intimate distance, but Harry actually leans into Louis’s face.
- Right before the lean, Louis realizes what Harry’s doing, and tries to deflect Harry, pointing to the side and asking “what’s going on” (note: Louis pointed to nothing in particular; it’s pretty obvious that he just needed Harry to snap out of it)
- At the last moment Harry turns away, and then stays looking the other direction for a good 10-15 seconds (and it’s not like he was turning to listen to Liam talk)
- Harry looks super flustered right after the almost-kiss; he keeps glancing up and down guiltily
- Harry wanted to kiss Louis like whoa. Like whoa like whoa like whoa.
- With Louis’s help he stopped himself, but still felt super self conscious and took a while to recover
(time for some sickeningly sweet stuff, amirite?)
For the sake of everything, I’m ignoring the 2nd GIF because while it is adorable, it’s nothing extraordinary compared to normal 1D gayness (it breaks my “could possibly be considered platonic” rule).
What went down:
- Harry and Louis link arms for part of an interview.
- Harry stares at Louis like Louis is God, but, what else is new?
- There’s nothing platonic about this.
- One thing about me is that I don’t point my finger to “dat’s gaaay” right away. I do believe guys can be close without being into each other, but what Harry and Louis are doing is crossing that line.
- Platonic friends just don’t do that…
- You can totally disagree with me on that point, but personally I’ve never seen guys just casually link their arms like that. They’re dating.
NUMBER 7:
What went down:
- Playing hansies like there’s no tomorrow.
- They were doing it discreetly enough, that it wasn’t for the cameras.
- Platonic guy friends don’t do this.
- Bro, they’re dating.

You can’t try and tell me that it’s a coincidence. They definitely have some sort of secret signal. Hee hee.

What went down:
- Interviewer asks Liam and Louis about being faithful on their tour. Louis says “Yep…” ever so hesitantly, turns and looks at Harry.
- Harry grins like an idiot.
- Louis ‘cheated’ on Eleanor with Harry (I’m not sure if I can even call it cheating because I don’t even think he and Eleanor are truly dating.)
- Harry and Louis are both bad at keeping secrets.
- Harry and Louis are as obvious as obvious can be obvious.
- Bro, they’re dating.

NUMBER 9:
What went down:
- Harry keeps reaching his hand out to touch Louis
- Louis reciprocates the touch by moving his arm back to meet Harry’s hand
- Harry’s desire to have physical contact with Louis at all time is adorable. It’s also a little extreme for a platonic friendship (a.k.a. They’re dating, bro). Obviously this instance alone can’t confirm a relationship, but it works alongside all the other evidence.
So here you have it, a collection of evidence for Larry Stylinson, a.k.a. the most perfect friendship and bromance and romance and relationship to ever exist.
Do you know how much it hurt my heart to not include their adorable fake make out sessions, the lovebite, and THE CONSTANT HEART EYES? A lot. But I think a lot of people get lost in the fact that they’re best friends anyways, and don’t consider the fact that they could be more than that. I did my best to filter out any fluff (even though I love it so much!) and leave just pure Larry romance.

NUMBER 10:
Okay this is actually really cute and i can summarize why but for a full analysis go here.
First of all Harry claimed in the 1d yearbook (?) that he wants to learn sign language.
And what louis does in this video at 2:43 is “my (patting chest) lover (thumbs up)”. What makes this moment particularly convincing is that Louis actually switches his hand to pat his chest (does it with left hand first, and then switches and does the correct double pat with his right hand) and ASL websites specifically refer to the double pat “mine” as done with the right hand. Also Harry replies with a thumbs up. Oww, my heart.
Definitely look here for a more thorough analysis.

Wow, a random cheek kiss. Why Harry, Why. Also in the video you can see Harry’s indecision and then him deciding, “fuck it”. If you want to argue that this is fueled from platonic love I’ll fight you on that (kidding) (not quite).
Wellington is also pretty interesting. Mostly because you get a glimpse of wasted, behind the cameras Harry and Louis. But tbh I’m irked out by the invasion of privacy.
There’s this /coincidence/ (not concrete evidence by any means but by now i’m just listing things that make you go “oh?” so how about i change the title of this post so i can include these gifs.).
Also I’m pretty sure he also chose it as the “theme song to his life” (question was framed as “theme song to your lives” but it’s most relevant, arguably only relevant, if applied to specific events (and not “the band”), and the person who names the song happens to be Harry). Uh, wow.
Also that expression is so Harry.
